First two pictures below are of Sticky Monkey Flowers while the third is a Toyon (also called Christmas Berries).

I started and ended at the parking lot near the Robert Ferguson Observatory, following the trail shown below counter-clockwise - I did not take the short extension to the green/black circle at the southwest of the map, hence going maybe 7.8 miles rather than the 8.1 miles listed on the map.
