On a a beautiful day with perfect weather we visited the Jack London State Historic Park which is in Kenwood, a town not far from where we live. After parking we took the Service Road which leads to the Wolf House. It was a very pretty walk with many flowers. The beginning of the walk was however a bit less that perfect because a loud helicopter kept circling overhead for a while. We assumed it was supporting a controlled burn that had been mentioned in the parking lot. We did get a whiff of smoke a couple of times. However, the helicopter left after a short while.
