Bob had a doctor's appointment in San Francisco on Tuesday, July 23, so Shirley and Bob decided to drive into San Francisco from their home in Santa Rosa, CA, and stay Monday night at their favorite motel, the Geary Parkway Motel, where they have stayed many times. We knew we could not check in until 3 pm, but figured even though it was only noon, we could at least park our car in their lot. We did so and went into the office. After a bit of discussion we were not only allowed to park our car, we were also checked into a room. A very good start to a fun two days.
We then did a lot of walking and eating!
