Automalls

Overland Park has received applications to permit the building of automalls (or auto plaza) in the area around 135th Street and 69 Highway. Two automalls have been proposed. Neighborhoods in the area intially opposed these applications. Eventually, they completely stopped the larger, more obnoxious one, and then began working closely with the developer of the smaller one who is bending over backwards to meet neighborhood concerns.
