CONSENT AGENDA
Consent agenda items have been studied by the County
Commissioners and determined to be routine enough to be
acted upon in a single motion. If either a Commissioner
or a member of the public requests separate discussion
on an item, it can be removed from the consent agenda
and placed on the action agenda for further
consideration.

- BD1 Consider approving the January 9, 1997, Business
Session minutes.
Development Services
- DS1 Consider approving Change Order No. 1 in the
amount of $340,964.72 to a contract with
Insituform Missouri, Inc., for additional
construction services for the sewer line
rehabilitation and repair project, Mission
Township Main Sewer District No. 1, Contract No.
41 for the Unified Wastewater Districts.
- DS2 Consider a request from Tom Shutt, applicant for
Josef Sorkin, owner, for renewal of a conditional
use permit to allow the continued use of a mobile
home for a single family residence for a farm hand
located at 20920 S. Sunflower Road. Application
No. MC CU 1641 and Resolution No. 009 97.
- DS3 Consider a request from Construction, Inc.,
applicant for Joseph and Ruth Ceule, owners for a
conditional use permit for the construction of a
20,990 square foot building for use as an auto
body shop, Lot 14, Replat, Blue Valley Park
located at approximately 162nd Street and Metcalf
Avenue. Application No. OX CU 1662 and Resolution
No. 010 97.

- SS1 Consider authorizing a contract with Laidlaw
Transit Services, Inc., through December 31, 1998
for transportation services for the Transportation
Department, at a cost of up $5,565,890. RFP No.
96 107.
- SS2 Consider authorizing a contract with Knoll North
America, Inc., for modular workstations for Court
Services, for the Facilities Office, at a cost of
up to $208,000.
- SS3 Consider authorizing a contact with ElDorado
National for the purchase of one wheelchair
accessible transit bus for the Transportation
Department, at a cost of up to $195,250.
- SS4 Consider authorizing a contract with Automated
Business Systems for high density mobile storage
systems for the Clerk of the District Court, at a
cost of up to $83,168. Bid Request No. 96 123.
