Bob and Shirley Phillips created this site as one means to help neighbors communicate and live together, keeping in mind that privacy and individualism are important. By providing information on local issues and contacts in local government, the website also is a tool to help resolve issues.
Every effort will be made to respect the wishes of each neighbor. Although every person who has a listed telephone number probably already has that number on the internet, this site will list phone, address, and/or e-mail information only for those residents who give permission to do so. (Links to internet sites with national listings are provided).
Information entered by residents will not be used by NeighborhoodNet for any marketing purposes. For example, e-mail lists will not be sold or distributed. W consider information about individuals, including their name, to be their property and we ourselves do not appreciate others making money by selling our names as part of their mailing list.
