This email list is for people interested in being emailed occasional updates on neighborhood oriented news in the Kansas City metro area. Most of the material sent by email appears on the website, but not all, so reading some of the headlines on the front page will give you an idea of what to expect. I send out an email at most a couple of times a week and usually at least once a month. It depends on my time, how much interest there is in an issue, and so on.
Besides the technical restrictions associated with this email list (see below), I send email "BCC" (Blind Carbon Copy), which means your email address is not displayed on email I send. That means others on the NeighborhoodNet email list do not see your email address.
On the other hand, if you would like to make your email available to others who visit NeighborhoodNet, or would like to have your personal homepage linked from NeighborhoodNet, visit the Neighbors Email Page.

My Recommendation For Web Hosting
Global Internet Services, Inc. is the company which is hosting this and other email lists and many of NeighborhoodNet's most current material. I chose GIS, Inc after checking out services and costs at several Internet hosting companies. GIS, Inc has been both responsive and relatively inexpensive. I recommend GIS, Inc. highly if you are considering a company to host your website. The GIS, Inc website is at:
